This concert will feature my arrangements of Jesus Will, as performed by Anita Wilson, and three Aretha Franklin charts - Day Dreaming, I Say a Little Prayer, and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

The Jazz Orchestra at Dr. Phillips Center and the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale will lead audiences through this sacred and swinging musical intersection in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater. World-renowned jazz bassist Rodney Whitaker, the orchestra’s artistic director, and Terrance L. Lane, Director of Concert Chorale at B-CU join forces to present a program of traditional and contemporary jazz-infused gospel music, with the hope of creating an emotional experience.
